Truly excellent location
Guests loved the hotel’s location for two reasons. Firstly, it was just off US 280, and so easy to get to and from. But an even bigger reason guests gave was that it was, as its name suggests, in Mountain Brook Village. They found that this area was quaint and had all they needed in terms of shopping and dining.

Bottled water in the lobby
Guests reported that the hotel has a fridge full of complimentary bottled water right in the lobby. Aside from being very surprised, guests also appreciated that the hotel provided this, especially on a blazing hot day.

Excellent Wi-fi
Considering that it is something guests typically take for granted, a surprising number went out of their way to report that they thought the Wi-Fi system at the hotel was excellent. They found the connection to be reliable and the speed more than fast enough for their purposes.

A bit difficult to find
A number of guests reported having difficulty finding the hotel. Many mentioned that their GPS devise did not properly direct them. Some also pointed out that the hotel is down a narrow road, and the route is not at all obvious when one exits the highway.

Noise from the highway
Guests found that the convenience of having the highway so close did not come without a price. Those in rooms facing the highway reported that they could definitely hear the sound of cars zooming by. Light sleepers were especially badly affected.

Problems at breakfast
There were far too many unhappy guests complaining about the breakfast. There were numerous problems they highlighted, but two common ones were that the food ran out early and was not replaced and that it was poorly prepared and served at the wrong temperature.
