Within the immediate vicinity of the hotel there are many different restaurants and bars where you can eat out with Japanese food, Mongolian, Mexican and a few steakhouses as well. In addition to the restaurants also located nearby is Space Center Houston where budding astronauts can learn about the space program and also Baybrook Mall where there are many different stores to do a spot of shopping.

There is a wide variety of food offered at breakfast time with something for everybody whether it is a continental selection with pastries, fresh fruit and yogurt or a more traditional cooked option with sausage and egg amongst other things. There are also pancakes available with a selection of different toppings and all of this is complimentary.

The staff work tirelessly to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay and will go above and beyond in order to satisfy your needs and fulfil requests. Many have been mentioned by name for all they do with the staff in the breakfast room in particular praised for their attentiveness in clearing up after guests, replenishing breakfast items and even offering to get food for guests so they don't have to get up.

There is a strong musty smell of mold in rooms and this is particularly strong in the bathroom so it seems like better ventilation is needed to combat this.

Some previous guests have reported that the beds are quite uncomfortable and in the morning they were left with bad backs either from the mattress being too hard or in some cases from the mattress springs poking through and prodding them.

The air conditioning units have been mentioned by a handful of guests who found that they were either noisy, the temperature could not be adjusted or they didn't work at all.
