Positive Reviews
positive:
The location is okay
The hotel is near the subway, implying getting around the city is easy enough. And while there is a restaurant on site, there are other places where you can eat and shop in the nearby shopping centres. You can reach a few attractions on foot, too, such as Jing'an Temple, which is only five minutes away.
positive:
Good rooms and service
The rooms are decent and the price is fair. Although some bathrooms are somewhat on the small side, it doesn't get overly uncomfortable. The staff members are very helpful. There is a fairly decent room service and, if you need help, there's always someone to assist. The staff speaks English, which is a plus. In addition, there is someone on standby to get a taxi for you.
positive:
Breakfast
The breakfast here is quite tasty and is served in a less crowded spot. Both local and continental options are included.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Wi-Fi is very slow
The Wi-Fi at the hotel is a major let down. And although there's the public Wi-Fi and the paid option, neither is reliable.
negative:
Some rooms can get a bit noisy
The lower rooms facing the road are a little noisy, especially on busy mornings. If possible, please get a room high up (or at least one facing away from the road).
negative:
Crossing the road
To get anywhere from the hotel including the nearby restaurants, you have to cross several major roads, which is a bit of a pain since the roads are quite busy.
