Guests definitely liked the area the hotel was situated in. A number specifically mentioned that they felt safe in the area, and that it was relatively pleasant. Also mentioned was that they found the proximity to the intestate handy for when they were heading to or from their destinations. There were no busy city streets to negotiate around the hotel.

Despite being so close to the interstate, several guests reported that their rooms were surprisingly quiet. They did not seem to experience any problems with external noise and managed to get a good night’s sleep.

Guests who were traveling with their pets felt that they received an especially warm welcome, rather than just being tolerated as a matter of policy. The also liked that they were not charged extra because they were traveling with their best friend.

A large number of guests were quite unhappy with the Wi-Fi service at the hotel. Some spoke about their being no Wi-Fi at all, while others mentioned that it would work in the lobby, but not in their room. Based on the hotel’s marketing materials, guests were clearly expecting it to be available throughout the building.

A number of guests traveling in the summer months were disappointed to find that the pool was a bit dirty. While it didn’t seem to prevent them from using it, they would definitely have felt more comfortable had it been cleaner.

Far too many guests for comfort reported finding cleanliness issues in their rooms. The specific complaints were varied, ranging from stained bed sheets to unemptied wastebaskets, but whatever they were they did not give guests the best first impression.
