Drake Roost Bungalow is an owner-operated budget guest house set in a
quiet neighborhood, located 5 km from JG Diefenbaker Airport
Simply decorated guest rooms feature shared bathroom. Free
Wi-Fi, air conditioning and flat screen TV are standard. Hairdryer is available
upon request. This is an adult’s only accommodation.
Drake Roost Bungalow features shuttle service for a fee and limited
free parking. Lounge with TV and use of the kitchen are a plus. Laundry
facilities, garden with seating and express check-in and check-out are welcome
amenities.
Peking Restaurant, located nearby, offers Chinese fare. Mr.
Rizzo’s Restaurant also located close by, features Canadian and International
cuisine and a full-service bar.
St. Paul’s Hospital and Saskatoon Native Theatre are within
walking distance of the guest house. Credit Union Centre, University of
Saskatoon, Saskatoon Research Centre and TCU Place are close at hand. Saskatoon
Forestry Farm Park and Zoo and Meewasin Valley are a short drive away.

Guests found the rooms and bathrooms to be clean at this guest house and really liked the quiet locale. Previous visitors appreciated being able to use the shared kitchen as it was a cost effective way to travel and they enjoyed the guest lounge. Guests also appreciated the good Wi-Fi available in their rooms and the common areas.

The rooms are on the small side
Many guests felt that the rooms were small and cramped, especially the basement room which was only big enough to house a bed and has no windows.

Guests felt like some of the amenities at this guest house could use improvements such as the TV, which had a limited number of channels from which to choose. Some guests also felt that the beds needed to be replaced and that the linens and towels needed to be replaced as well.
