Positive Reviews
positive:
Good value and no dramas.
It's not dramatically brilliant or mind bogglingly bad. It's fine ..OKC! Staff are really nice and helpful, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and breakfast is better than most. All in all, you'll enjoy 'more days in' here!
positive:
Piles of compliments.
The red carpet treatment is provided by this former Green Carpet hotel. There are undesirable elements roaming around every town but there's a security policy here that is dedicated to keeping them out of the hotel. That same strict, but friendly, policy extends into the hospitality aspect. Everything is geared to providing the guest with best possible value - and it shows.
positive:
They think of everything - within reason.
Doors are outside facing, so no noisy corridors. There's a very reasonable limit on the room temperature you can set. If you need more .. you've got a real problem! The water pressure seems to be fairly consistent so that's good news if you're in the middle of a shower. Breakfast is plentiful, appetizing, meat free and a real healthy option.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Unaddressed plumbing issues.
Bathroom problems can occur anywhere. When, though, these issues are reported to the front desk at 'first light'; it's annoying, later in the day, to find that the problem remains and the maintenance man is enjoying 'more days out' and isn't due to return.
negative:
Rooms aren't uplifting.
It seems, the higher you go, the more mediocre rooms become. Worn carpets and smoke smells are not to be expected at these tariffs .. particularly in non-smoking rooms.
negative:
Cleanliness concerns.
Carpets are obviously not cleaned prior to the arrival of new guests. Bedding is suspect and appears not to have been changed. Add this to dirty shower curtains and there is real concern for the cleanliness of rooms.
