There is a really good choice of different food available at breakfast and it really sets you up for the day ahead. A cold continental option is offered with cereals, bread, pastries, muffins, yogurt and fresh fruit and there is also a hot cooked option with omelettes, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage and all the usual fare.

The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to resolve any issues efficiently and without any fuss such as faults in rooms which can happen anywhere, but it is the way that they are dealt with which makes guests feel like they are appreciated and that the staff care about them enjoying their stay.

The hotel enjoys a very convenient location just yards from the historic Route 66 and just a few miles from downtown Flagstaff where Northern Arizona University is situated and where stargazers can visit Lowell Observatory just north of the town, furthermore the stunning Grand Canyon National Park is just over an hour's drive away.

The carpets are really dirty in rooms and also in communal areas and hallways with them needing replacing or at the very least a good deep clean needed as previous guests found that walking barefoot or even in socks resulted in them being getting dirty.

Although there have been many positive reviews of the breakfast some have also commented on the breakfast room being very small with just a few tables in there meaning it is quite a tight fit if it gets busy.

There is a railroad on the other side of the highway with trains running during the night which can be noisy and can disturb sleep.
