Hotel Best Western Plus Barrie (Barrie, Canada)

Guests appreciated the overall quality of the beds and pillows. Both the beds and pillow had the right firmness and were very comfortable to sleep in. The mattresses also looked brand new while the linens smelled fresh and clean.

The friendly yet professional service of the staff from the front desk manager to housekeeping staff was commendable according to most guests. They remembered the names of the guests, were more than willing to assist guests with their special requests such as room assignments, and recommended best dining options and places to visit within the area.

Most guests were pleased with the quality of the breakfast served at the hotel. It has a wide variety of choices such as scrambled eggs, sausages, and bacon. Moreover, the complimentary breakfast was freshly served and even had protein rich items available.

Guests were dismayed with the lack of enough parking spaces provided for them. The spots are very limited and the area gets a little cramped especially during the night. Some guests even had to drive around the area and park at the back side of the building which was very uncomfortable.

Aside from the small size of the swimming pool, most guests were disappointed with the lack of enough life guards for protection and limited pool hours. Guests expressed that they wanted to enjoy the pool area and tub without kids so they prefer longer hours of pool time.

Guests complained about the loud noise coming from kids who were running within the hallway or yelling within the corridors. Slamming of doors can also be heard due to the rooms' thin wall structure.
