Hotel Super 8 by Wyndham Barrie South (Barrie, Canada)

Thanks to a varied selection of restaurants and stores within walking distance, the hotel’s location was often seen as a great base from which to explore the area. In addition, the accommodation is conveniently positioned off Highway 400, with downtown Barrie just ten minutes away by car.

The standard of the rooms was popular with most past visitors to the accommodation. Along with supposedly featuring all you could need in terms of amenities, the rooms were regarded as very clean and tidy for the most part.

Many previous guests were left really happy about the service they received during their stay at the hotel. The staff members were regularly described as polite, helpful and professional.

Whilst the breakfast was praised for the most part, former visitors were occasionally left disappointed about this aspect of the accommodation. Along with an apparent lack of day-to-day variety, the time in which breakfast is served was also an issue at times.

The size of the indoor swimming pool was often a source of negativity for previous guests that used the facility. Although it was generally considered well-maintained, the pool was thought of as shallow and cramped – a point that was further emphasised when the area became crowded.

The soundproofing of the rooms was criticised by a sizeable number of past visitors that stayed at the accommodation. On various occasions, the reportedly thin walls apparently failed to block out the noise of others in the hallways and neighbouring rooms.
