Hotel Baymont by Wyndham Wichita East (Wichita, USA)

Staff are friendly and give you a warm welcome upon arrival with guests praising their attentiveness and composure even after admitting to snapping at front desk staff after a long journey and when some guests have had to leave early in the morning before breakfast time staff have gone to the trouble of organising something to eat and drink for them.

The rooms have everything that you need for your stay especially if you are staying for a longer period of time as they are equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave and even a dishwasher so you don't even have to wash the dishes.

The hotel is just minutes from the highway and around 15-minutes' drive from downtown Wichita where there are many bars, restaurants and shopping malls. Beech Factory Airport, Colonel James Jabara Airport and the larger Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower airport are within easy driving distance as is McConnell Air Force Base and the Kansas Aviation Museum.

Many negative reviews have mentioned the carpets as being very dirty and in need of a really good deep clean or better still, replacing completely as they are stained and worn in places and in addition there are also reports of dirty stained mattresses and stained bed linen.

There is a lack of choice at breakfast with some guests reporting not seeing any fruit available and others reporting that the cooked breakfast only offers poor quality eggs and sausages and suggested that you go to McDonalds instead.

Some guests have mentioned having issues with lost bookings or being charged more than once for their rooms and have felt dissatisfied when the blame has been apportioned to third parties and not booking direct with the hotel.
