Positive Reviews
positive:
Good value for money accommodation in Singapore.
This hotel does not try to punch above its weight when it comes to room rates, so you can expect very affordable accommodation should you decide to stay here. Budget travellers and backpackers will really appreciate this place.
positive:
Polite and friendly service from all the staff.
Expect top notch customer service at this hotel, the people working here are very attentive and deal with any request you have very professionally. If you encounter a problem with your room it will be fixed straightaway.
positive:
Lots of restaurants and amenities close by.
If you like eating out then you'll be happy to know that there are many different restaurants to choose from just a short walk away. Try Vietnamese, Indian, Chinese, and traditional Malaysian cuisine. There's also a convenience store for those everyday things you need.
Negative Reviews
negative:
This hotel is not being properly maintained.
Unfortunately this hotel is not being looked after properly which is leading to faulty facilities. Things like temperamental air conditioning units, stained bathrooms, and cracked tiles are just a few things you might encounter.
negative:
Some of the rooms are too small for comfort.
If you decide to take one of the standard rooms be prepared for quite a small space. Unless you are used to small rooms you will probably find it quite cramped. These rooms aren't a good option if you have lots of luggage.
negative:
Far from the centre and the nearest MTR station.
You'll be a long walk from the centre of the city when you stay at this hotel, and the nearest MTR station is over 15 minutes' walk away. Exploring the sights of Singapore is not so easy from this place.
