Be ready to wake up to a great breakfast to start your day. There are plenty of options. There's good coffee, biscuits and gravy, the whole nine-yards. You can enjoy a quality breakfast that is kept nice, warm, and fresh.

It's a breeze to go on small excursions from the hotel location. New Orleans, Biloxi, and Gulf Shores can all be visited in one weekend. Mobile Downtown is just minutes away. If you have additional time, be sure to check-out Bellingrath Gardens, catch a game at Hank Aaron Stadium, or watch the dolphins swim at Daulphin Island. Beware that the hotel is a little tricky to find as it is hidden behind another hotel.

Surprisingly, even though the hotel is situated next to a highway, you will hardly hear a peep.

You might find yourself in a newly remodeled bathroom lacking in details. Chipped surfaces on the toilet and shower, black non-toxic mold on the ceiling; which is not pleasant to look at, and a bathtub that drains too slow are a few of the discrepancies that you may encounter.

If you book a handicap room, be sure to check that it's on the first floor. There have been instances where people requesting a handicap room have been placed on the 4th floor. This can be hazardous if there is an emergency as elevators do not function during a fire. Therefore, you could only get out by using the stairs. If you have someone with you in a wheelchair, you see what problems this can cause.

If you are ever in the mood for “fine dining” while staying at the hotel, you may be out of luck. Most of the restaurants nearby are of the fast food and chain type variety.
