While it may have caused a little inconvenience with respect to noise, on balance guests really liked being so close to the interstate. They felt that it made finding the hotel initially so easy, and was also convenient for when they were on their way to other area destinations.

When reading through the reviews one loses count of the number of times guests report that the bed was one of the most comfortable they had ever slept in. It was clear that the hotel has selected a mattress with very broad appeal, no mean feat considering how much preferences vary.

While there were a few contrary opinions, most guests found the staff to be a credit to the hotel. They were said to have a professional, but friendly, demeanor that was exactly what guests were looking for in hospitality professionals.

An extraordinary number of guests mentioned that their rooms smelled like “wet dog” on entering. The La Quinta Group has exceptionally pet-friendly policies, and pets are usually allowed in all rooms. Some guests felt that the rooms weren't properly cleaned and/or deodorized after a guest with a pet had occupied them.

While the breakfast did also receive some compliments, most guests felt it was much too simple to be truly satisfying. It was said to contain no meat, or any protein at all for that matter.

While not mentioned often, a couple of guests said they really missed these amenities. They are included in the superior rooms, but those in the standard rooms found they had nowhere to keep their cold drinks cold or to heat up a quick snack.
