Guests remark that the Holiday Inn Express Chattanooga-Hixson makes for a great stay if people are looking for a deal in a good location. Though slightly in an obscure neighborhood, guests find the area quiet at nights and close to almost everything they want to do and see in Chattanooga.

Guests are happy that the rooms are well appointed and everything is clean with a nice decor. They applaud the exemplary customer service of the hotel as guests traveling as a group of four was given an upgrade to a suite. Guests find the suites spacious; easily able to accommodate six guests.

Front desk staff is talked about highly by most guests as they extend personal care and give attention to details. When guests have to rush without breakfast, they pack small bites for them to take on the road. Guests also love the pool in which they say they had long swims with the temperature being just right.

Parking at the hotel is found to be a bit tight by guests who find it difficult to maneuver their cars. Space is not big enough to accommodate large vehicles.

Guests say that the breakfast service and menu needs a lot to be desired at the hotel. At the busy breakfast time there is not enough staff to work the breakfast area, and guests do not have much to choose from either as the food items are not replenished.

Some guests had issues with their bathroom sinks as they would not drain. The staff did not attend to the issue and guests had to end up using the tub to brush their teeth and wash up.
