Negative Reviews
negative:
Lacking AC
Of course, the California coast is usually a pleasantly temperate place to be. However, at the summers' peak, conditions can get very muggy, which wouldn't be a problem if the hotel had an air conditioner. Sometimes a ceiling fan just doesn't cut it.
negative:
No elevators
Guests of the hotel have found the views impressive and the rates reasonable. However, if you or your companion has trouble getting around, you may wish to book a room on the first floor, since the hotel doesn't have an elevator.
negative:
A few minor concerns
Although the quarters are pleasant and the hotel is comfortable, some guests noted a handful of slightly troubling issues regarding the hotel. These include thin walls, minimalist décor, older rooms, limited hot water for showers, and some outmoded facilities.
