Positive Reviews
positive:
Nearby shopping and dining
Although some guests would have preferred to be nearer Savannah's downtown and historic districts, they do concede this hotel is in a great spot for anyone who wants to shop. There are numerous malls and shopping centers, as well as plentiful dining options within a mile or two of the hotel.
positive:
Friendly service
Guests find that the staff at the Quality Inn Midtown Savannah offer a warm welcome and are generally attentive. At least some of the team appear to be local as they were able to provide guests with some great recommendations for what to see and where to eat.
positive:
Decent value for money
While feedback for this hotel is not 100% positive, many guests are of the opinion that it offers value for money. Not only are the room rates very reasonable, breakfast, parking, and Internet access won't cost a dollar more throughout your stay.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Disappointing rooms
At first glance, the rooms appear to offer comfortable surroundings and a good choice of amenities. However, many reviews suggest that cleanliness could be much improved. The number of people who report stray hairs in the bathrooms and grubby bedding is cause for concern.
negative:
Nearby airfield
This hotel is near the Hunter Army Airfield and guests occasionally mention that you can hear cargo planes flying in and out. To be fair, this is an issue that affects most hotels in this area and, on the plus side for some, this hotel is said to offer the best view of the planes.
negative:
Breakfast won't suit everyone
If you just want to grab a quick bite to eat and a coffee in the morning, then breakfast at this hotel will suffice. Guests report that the choice of items is quite limited. Also, service finishes quite early at 9 am.
