Guesthouse Mission Inn (Santa Cruz, USA)

The front desk personnel have been positively received by virtually all former guests of the Mission Inn. The customer service provided by the staff is said to be warm and obliging.

For past visitors that were traveling to the hotel in their own form of transport, the on-site parking was a major plus point. Although the size of the lot is supposedly tight, there are apparently always enough parking spaces available for those staying at the accommodation.

Despite some complaints about being too dark and a lack of electrical outlets, the rooms at the Mission Inn were warmly received for the most part. Not only are the rooms considered suitably equipped and spacious, but they are also said to be spotlessly clean throughout.

If you are basing your trip around downtown Santa Cruz, there are more convenient accommodation choices than the Mission Inn when it comes to location. The city center and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk are both around two miles away from the hotel, which means transport of some kind is virtually a necessity to travel to these areas.

Whilst some previous guests were complimentary about the free buffet breakfast, a similar amount complained about this aspect of the hotel. Along with the opinion of the breakfast quality being middling, the small dining room and the absence of staff were other noted problems.

As the Mission Inn is positioned on a busy street, unwanted noise is a natural occurrence - something that has disrupted past visitors during their stay at the hotel. However, this is reportedly not an issue for rooms that are positioned away from the street.
