Hotel West Cliff Inn, A Four Sisters Inn (Santa Cruz, USA)

The B&B décor is simple and inspiring. The wall decorations include lovely traditional California artwork. Rooms are spacious, neat, and nicely furnished. The bathroom is gorgeous with a large bath, Jacuzzi, and shower. Magnificent views from the second-floor balcony, which is open to everyone, are amazing.

If you want to enjoy Santa Cruz, this is the ideal base to do it. You are only a few blocks from the beach, where surfers practice their skills, and downtown is an easy walk. You will find the food on the pier delicious and the Boardwalk has plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Breakfast is interesting with healthy choices like vegetables, fresh fruit salad, juices, and more. It’s original and tasty. Sweets include homemade cookies and scones, and there is wine and cheese in the evening. It’s those nice little treats that make you feel so comfortable.

It would be great if the B&B had reading lights in the room. The air conditioning could be better, as it doesn’t seem to get cool enough. The Wi-Fi is basically useless.

Unfortunately, the outside noise easily resonates on the inside. The sound of car alarms, garbage trucks beeping early in the morning, and so on, kind of spoils the whole serene ambiance. During the night-time hours it can get noisy as well.

You may have to tussle with your luggage going up the B&B stairs. There is no alternative means of hauling luggage to upper floors, so you will just have to deal with it.
