Guesthouse Hotel Épik Montréal (Montréal, Canada)

Guests were very impressed indeed with the interior design of the hotel. In fact, it seems it was one of the main reasons for booking here in the first place. Guests were certainly not disappointed, saying they loved the way the old building had been intelligently renovated, and how the new design retained period features like the lovely stone walls, which were especially well liked.

It seems that nearly all the guests here were tourists, rather than business people. They could hardly have been any happier with the location of the hotel, saying that it was in the perfect spot to explore Old Montréal and the Old Port area, and also well within walking distance of the modern downtown core and its amenities.

It was very unusual to read a guest review that did not praise the staff in at least a small way. More typically, guests were very generous with their praise, saying that the staff were not only welcoming and friendly, traits arguably expected in the hospitality profession, but seemed to genuinely care about their guests and often went “above and beyond” when they needed assistance.

It seems that at least one of the 10 rooms is quite close to the hotel's restaurant, with guests reporting that the noise from there can be heard in the room.
