The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, featuring comfortable beds with premium bedding. The bathrooms are also clean and well laid out with plenty of room. All rooms include a balcony and are positioned to offer views of either the Caribbean Sea, the city's historical district or the hotels's internal gardens. Some guests recommended booking a room on the higher floors to take full advantage of these views.

The staff have been described as friendly and professional, attentive, accommodating and helpful. Housekeeping staff work hard to keep the rooms and common areas clean and well presented. The grounds including the pool and gardens are also beautifully maintained.

The hotel provides a range of on-site facilities for both relaxation and entertainment. You can enjoy gambling at the casino, listen to live music or indulge in the spa services and relax by the swimming pool and pool side bar. The outdoor pool is large and decked with umbrellas and sun loungers. There are also a variety of local restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Some rooms appear to be old, run down and in need of maintenance work. Guests reported that some of the rooms had old carpet which was worn and stained, chipped wall paint in need of repainting and dated furnishings.

Some guests reported that the windows were not double glazed and that the sound of local traffic and people in the street could be heard loudly at times.

Some guests commented that the meals and drinks were on par with US prices and were overpriced, while others felt that the quality of the rooms and services offered did not warrant a 5-star rating.
