Guests are quite safe whether jogging or taking a walk to check out the city and the local people. Nearby attractions include Columbus Light House Monument (5.4 km), Cathedral of Santa Maria (5.6 km), and Plaza de la Cultura (4.3 km).

Although the hotel's Internet signal is strong and fast in the lobby, it has been reported to be disappointingly slow or sometimes altogether lacking in the rooms.

Whereas relaxing by the rooftop poolside gives guests an opportunity to savor the picturesque landscape and ocean in the distance, a number of the rooms present rather dull views which compels some guests to avoid them.
