Belle Isle Motel (Bar Harbor, USA)

If you are staying at the motel to indulge in the activities on Mt Desert Iceland you are at the right place. Acadia National Park is also close. Downtown Bar Harbor is a little further away but still pleasant to visit.

The motel is quite comfortable and great on the budget. The rooms are somewhat small but they are comfortable and efficient. The Wi-fi is terrific! Because it is a family owned and run business, it has a charming and cosy atmosphere.

If you are in the area again and need a place to stay, the motel will be the first to enter your mind. The amenities like laundry service and playground makes the place feel like a home away from home. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. For a motel, the standard is high.

Though the motel is clean, it's clear that it is dated. New carpeting and a fresh coat of paint does not manage to hide it either. Another thing, if you are a light sleeper, you might want to avoid the rooms facing the road as it can get quite noisy.

The shower is a bit small, so if you are even a little over five-feet tall, you will have to bend to get inside.

The motel though nice, is a bit far from town. In addition, there is nothing within walking distance.
