Guests reported that the meals served at this hotel are a welcome sight after a long day of sightseeing. The food is healthy and delicious, there is a lot to choose from, the portions are large and everything is cooked to perfection.

The guest rooms are cleaned to a high standard and are tastefully-decorated with lots of character. Guests also reported the beds are comfortable, there are plenty of amenities and the bathrooms are large and luxurious.

The food served at The Angel Inn is of poor-quality with overcooked and undercooked items, canned fruit, reheated leftovers from the day before, sour juice and raw chips. Guests also reported that there isn't a lot to choose from, especially if you are a vegetarian, and the portions are very small.

Some guests reported that there is a lot of noise around the hotel especially in the evenings due to the Inn's pub being open late. Live music, singing and shouting can be heard late into the night.

The rooms at this hotel tend to get either very hot or very cold. Guests reported that the heat is turned down in the dead of winter, there are no extra blankets and in the summer the windows can't be opened because of the noise outside. Also reported was a smell of grease from the kitchen and very small showers with a lack of water pressure.
