Positive Reviews
positive:
Special service worth a mention.
Guests travelling to The Hatfield can expect to be greeted with a smile, and for the cheerful service to remain throughout the entire visit. The staff take great pleasure in making ends meet for their guests, and don’t hesitate when a request is made.
positive:
Upmarket stay, budget pricing.
The lodgings at The Hatfield are what one would expect to find at a 5-star boutique, with prices to match. Not at The Hatfield! Guests will enjoy luxurious accommodation, at a fraction of the price compared to other places of the same quality.
positive:
Packed meals for early risers.
For guests rising and departing before the breakfast bell has chimed, a packed lunch is presented to them, for them to enjoy at their leisure.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Wi-Fi a little slow in some areas.
Unfortunately, with the free Wi-Fi supplied to all areas of the premises, the signal has been known to be a bit weak in some parts of the building. Guests are welcomed to make use of the public spaces where the signal is strongest.
negative:
Light sleepers beware rooms above events.
With event catering available at such a fantastic location, many parties are planned, and held at The Hatfield. Guests who have trouble sleeping, or awake at the slightest noise are recommended to request lodgings further from the event rooms.
negative:
Limited parking for events.
The Hatfield’s restaurant, Shoreline, is quite popular, and so, at meal times, the free parking spaces get filled quickly. Unfortunately, for guests arriving by car, the possibility of losing one’s spot is more than likely at these select times.
