Many found it very convenient not having to rely on their cars when it came to planning their sightseeing tours as many attractions including the Royal BC Museum are a stroll away from the guest house. Another advantage of staying here according to the guests was the fact that the centre of Victoria, with its many shops, bars and restaurants is within comfortable walking distance.

Guests said that they received a warm welcome upon their arrival which set the tone for their entire stay. The owners were described as being genuinely concerned about the comfort and welfare of their guests, often going the extra mile in order to assist the guests with their various queries and requests.

The freshly prepared breakfasts have been described as being full of flavour and made from quality produce. Guests with special dietary requirements said they were well-catered for whilst many also enjoyed the fact that the meals are served in the elegant and spacious dining room.

Guests who wanted to connect to the Internet from their rooms said they experienced difficulties as the Wi-Fi signal was said to be slow and intermittent. Many had to take their devices closer to the lounge and reception area where the signal was said to be better.

The television sets were said to be on the small side whilst quite a few guests also objected to the poor reception and lack of cable channels.

Many of the en-suites are located in the basement and guests who stayed in these rooms objected to not having a view as well as mentioning that they had to climb down narrow steps in order to reach their accommodation.
