The rooms are reportedly well appointed, clean and comfortable. Some rooms included mountain and city views. Guests also enjoyed the indoor pool and spa services including sauna and steam room. The lounge bar also provides a relaxed nd friendly atmosphere whether during the day or evening.

The hotel is well placed is within walking distance to many of the city's attractions. Sites such as Victoria Harbor, the Royal BC Museum and the Victoria Royal Theater are all within 10-minutes' walk.

Poor customer service
Customer service is not always fast or efficient. At times, requests for assistance, including requests to restock essentials in the room, as well as maintenance issue reports, were not addressed in a speedy time frame. You may need to contact staff and repeat your request before action is taken.

Not good value for money
Some guests commented that the high expense of the hotel was not reflected in it's quality of service. Various reasons were given for this. Some guests felt that the furnishings were of poor quality and that cleanliness needed attention. At times hot water was not available in the rooms and the air conditioning has been known to malfunction. Parking is paid and some guests felt that this service should be included in the price.
