Bed & Breakfast Rhett House (Beaufort, USA)

Majority of the guests loved the authentic Southern breakfast served either on the porch or the dining room. The French toast for breakfast and cheese crackers for dessert were a hit amongst the guests. Guests have recommended tasting cheesy hot bits and honey crunch pecan pies. Service, which was prompt, added to the whole charm.

Guests could take up many activities like hiking, biking, water skiing, kayaking, windsurfing, parasailing and golfing, In fact, golf lessons available nearby was a good learning experience as per many guests. They could even rent out the scooter and mopeds for sight-seeing. Onsite personal motorized watercraft is also available.

The staff members are very courteous and friendly. They always lend a helping hand to the guests with a huge smile on their face, which went a long way in making the guests feel at home.

Most of the rooms like the cottage rooms have very poor sound insulation owing to the thin walls. Neighbors could be heard talking and the noise from the adjacent street was disturbing. Guests residing in rooms next to the kitchen could hear lots of noise early in the morning.

The stairs are very steep and it was very uncomfortable to go up and down to the common areas.  Having an elevator would have been a better option, especially for elderly guests and guests with lots of luggage.

Apart from these two concerns, most of the guests had a very satisfactory and comfortable stay at the inn.
