The Old Manse Inn is located in beautiful Brewster, Massachusetts on Cape Cod is located about midway out on the Cape, so it is the perfect location to explore Cape Cod. The Inn itself was built in 1801 around the time that Brewster split from neighboring Harwich to become the Sea Captains town. The house was owned at one time by the Nickerson Knowles family who were adventurous sea captains themselves. Down through the years, the house has had many lives, including a manse, which means minister's home for the church across the street. The property originally had over 12 acres of land on both sides of Lower Road back in those days when it was a farm. Almost 85% of that land has since been sold leaving with 2 beautiful acres around the main house, barn and the old carriage house. Becoming an Inn in 1970, it has been through many changes, renovations and updates - and we are continuing in that thread each year!
