The property is located in the centre of Montreal, with a good number of shops, bars, galleries and other tourist attractions within walking distance. Guests were able to walk to the Old Port within five minutes, as well as the central railway station that took them to farther parts of the country.

Guests who are on a very tight budget commented that staying on the property suited their needs the best. While the property is not as elegant compared to other high-rated hotels, it is fully functional with comfortable rooms for those who are planning to only spend a night or two in the city.

Many guests stated that the check-in and check-out process are easy! This was because of the well-performing receptionists, who always made it a point to answer all of the questions from the guests and never failed to give them vital information about the property and the city.

The free breakfast is very basic and uninspiring according to guests, with only a limited choice of jam, peanut butter, and cheese to boast. There is a kitchen which guests can freely use to prepare their own meal, but the basic items for food preparation aren't provided.

Previous guests complained that they were able to hear people walking and talking on the hallways from their rooms. Some of them were disturbed by the noises so much they had to request for a room transfer.

There were complaints about the shared bathrooms' cleanliness. Guests stated that the management must put more respect to the hygiene of the bathing facilities, as they became hesitant on using the facilities because they were unclean.
