Therme Vals (Vals, Switzerland)

The village of Vals is home to the only thermal spring in the Graubunden area of Switzerland and is the location for the ultra-modern Therme Vals spa. The residents of the village of Vals teamed up to buy the Therme Spa buidling in 1983. They then worked with an architect for ten years to create the new spa. The spa is hidden away in the Swiss mountains, approximately 200 km from Zurich. The season runs from 17th June to 9th April for 2006/2007 and from 26th May to 30th March for 2007/2008. Open to the public daily from 11:00 - 20:00 and children under 5 not allowed. Various treatment options are available.
