Renmark Rose Festival (Renmark, Australia)

The Renmark Rose Festival celebrate it’s 20th anniversary in 2014. The Festival was created by Eithne Sidhu in 1994 in collaboration with David Ruston and was originally called “Rose Week”. Eithne’s intention was to create an event to bring people to Renmark and promote the region as Australia’s Rose Capital. Renmark is well deserving of the title, featuring 51, largely single variety, rose beds containing 3500 bushes. With open gardens, flower arranging courses, guided tours, a scarecrow competition and much more set over two weekends in October there is something for everyone.
