Held in Kihikihi (near Te Awamutu) in April every year, the Kihikihi International Horse Trial is in the upper echelon of New Zealand’s premier equestrian events. The Kihikihi International Horse Trial is organised and run by Kihikihi Waikato Eventing Inc, a committee comprised of a collection of enthusiastic volunteers, all of whom are totally committed to the sport of Eventing. The groups objective is to encourage, promote, advance and stimulate generally interest in the sport of eventing and organising national and international horse trials of the highest standard.
