Church Road Winery (Napier, New Zealand)

The Church Road Winery is located in Napier, not far from the Sugar Loaf Reserve. It is one of the oldest wineries in New Zealend, built in 1897. The grapes used for making wine come from the Hawke’s Bay vineyards, providing a range of different wines. Church Road Winnery promotes guided tours by the working places and the museum, where it is possible to learn about some old winemaking techniques. Besides that, those tours include wine tasting. Guided tours are also available twice a day, at 11 AM and 2 PM. There is also the Cellar Door, a place where the visitors may taste seeral types of wine and appreciate some local cuisine. This place opens daily from 10 AM to 5 PM.
