ChillOut Festival Daylesford (Daylesford, Australia)
The Queer Country Pride ChillOut Festival is regional Australia’s largest celebration of gay and lesbian arts and culture and takes place in Daylesford, with the 2015 event running from 6 - 9 March. The Festival has grown in significance and size since its first event in 1997 and today it welcomes more than 27,500 people from across Australia, who witness an extensive and eclectic program of events. The region is a leading destination for health and wellbeing tourism and guests can not only enjoy the weekend at the Festival, they can sample the regions finest culture, food and wine. Although the Festival continues to grow in popularity, it retains a relaxed and down-to-earth atmosphere with plenty of opportunities to let your hair down and celebrate. The Festival is run by a not-for-profit, community based organisation that celebrates gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer pride within the unique setting of regional Victoria. The Festival and the organisation promotes the core values of building community, celebrating diversity, and sharing our love for this beautiful part of Australia, all while raising money for great causes.
