Quiet yet central location.
Many guests liked the fact that the hotel was situated in the quieter part of town but still close enough to the city centre which they could reach in foot. Being so close to all the shops, bars and cinemas was a big plus for many of the guests.

Problems with stairs.
The hotel doesn’t have a lift which means that guests staying on the higher floors have to climb the stairs which have been described as steep and narrow. Although the staff will help the guests with their luggage, those with any mobility problems should

Parking problems.
Free off-peak parking is available on the road outside the hotel but many guests found it cumbersome having to move their vehicles at 8.30 am and then driving their car back in front of the hotel after 6.30 in the evening.

Rooms feel stuffy.
Some guests have found the rooms to be uncomfortably warm and stuffy even when the radiators are not switched on. Most have been able to overcome this problem by opening the windows.
