Lovely Location and Value
Situated between the Wild Atlantic Way, Salthill Promenade and the various attractions of Galway, this location is a superb base from which to explore the area. Beach walking, shopping and breathtaking natural wonders are all at your fingertips. Remarkably affordable rates include a decent daily breakfast, free parking and a popular pub on the premises. Clean, fun, cheap and cheerful.

negative:
Wi-Fi only in Common Areas
Although the free Wi-Fi is widely advertised, it is never revealed until check-in that it's only available in the lobby and common areas - not in the rooms. Very archaic and inconvenient.Wi-Fi only in Common AreasAlthough the free Wi-Fi is widely advertised, it is never revealed until check-in that it's only available in the lobby and common areas - not in the rooms. Tiny Parking Lot and Rooms
The free parking area can only fit a handful of cars, so get clarification on that in advance - especially if you have mobility issues or a larger vehicle. Rooms are tiny with minuscule bathrooms which are difficult to use if you aren't a pixie.

Needs a Refurb ASAP
This spot is a bit outdated, as well as in need of a good scrub in some areas. A fresh coat of paint would do wonders, as would some renovation on the steep and narrow staircases, improved sound-proofing above the bar, and some focused attention to the ancient plumbing and weak shower pressure. Overall, this locale has seen better days, but is still quite acceptable for most casual travellers.
