Would prefer closer proximity to downtown
Guests to The Westin Sacramento enjoy some aspects of its location — such as its close, two mile distance from the local zoo — but some wish that the hotel was within walking distance of downtown, which as it stands is a full four miles away. Guests would appreciate being able to walk to shops and dining off-site, which currently isn't possible.
negative:
Perfumed smell annoying
Some guests are annoyed by the strong, sweet perfumed smell they encounter within the lobby and throughout the common, public areas of the hotel. These guests consider the smell to be too overbearing and, ultimately, distracting.
negative:
Noise complaints
A few guests complain of noise in some rooms from one of two sources: Either from other rooms along their hall (perhaps due to thin walls), or from the occasionally loud air conditioner units.
