Comfortable rooms
Guestrooms at this hotel are pleasingly spacious, well decorated and with comfy beds. The bathrooms are really nice as well. The water pressure in the shower is very good. Everywhere displays an impressive level of cleanliness as well, both in private and public areas.
positive:
A handy position
The hotel is well placed in the heart of Downtown Sacramento. As well as being being close to the Convention Center and Capitol Building, it is within easy walking distance of a number of good places to eat and to shop. It's also near to the Old Town and Midtown areas and is a nice place to stroll around.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Extra expense for car drivers
If you are planning to bring your vehicle to Hyatt Regency Sacramento, then you'll have to be prepared to pay for parking for each night of your stay. It isn't especially cheap either.
negative:
Not the best sound-proofing
The walls at this hotel seem rather thin, meaning you may be able to hear everything that is going on in adjacent rooms. If people are talking loudly, it could disturb your peace. Similarly, you might hear people walking around on the floor above, and the plumbing is loud as well.
negative:
Expect to wait
Sometimes the elevators can take an age to appear, particularly if there is a convention on during your stay. If you need to be somewhere at a specific time, give yourself an extra few minutes to get there.
