The Salutation Hotel is a 17-room luxury boutique hotel designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1912, situated in Kent, Sandwich, England and set up amongst manor houses and gardens dating back to 1911. Bedrooms have been divided into the Main House, Coach House, Knightrider House and Gardener’s Cottage and include antique furnishings, comfortable beds with pillow-top mattresses and Egyptian cotton linens, coffee/ tea maker, television and hair dryer. Cottages come with kitchens, and dining and living areas, while suites have an extra living space. Parking and Wi-Fi are complimentary. On site are a fine-dining restaurant, a bar/ lounge, a meeting room, garden and gift shops. Pets are allowed, albeit with restrictions. Wedding services are provided. Complimentary breakfast is served in the dining room of the Main House, which also houses a tea room. The Salutation Hotel is nestled within the Salutation Gardens, an award-winning garden designed by Lutyens, and is nine-minute walk to the Sandwich train station.
