Positive Reviews
positive:
Wonderfully located near transit and attractions
This is a great hotel to use as a base for the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, and many of the delightful places and things you'll find in New Orleans. It's within walking distance to a lot of sites, and also convenient to trolley stops and hailing a taxi.
positive:
Friendly and helpful staff are great resources
Staff at The Saint Autograph Collection are always on hand for requests, problems, and questions, and happily assist with sightseeing plans. They're a great source for firsthand tips and info concerning places to go and eat, station stops, safe neighborhoods, and whatever else may be of interest during your stay.
positive:
Lovely décor in the rooms and through hotel
Guests fall in love with the exposed brick, vibrant colors, LED lighting, marble bathrooms, and rich linens. Additional features such as angelic and devilish themed suites, and TVs in the elevators that play classic movies, appeal to all aesthetic tastes.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Breakfast quality and price are very disappointing
Expectations for a great breakfast are sadly not met. Ingredients, preparation, and presentation are lackluster, and made more so because of the considerable price. It's a disappointing way to start the morning in a highly rated hotel.
negative:
There should be more amenities for the price
Many feel that because of the hotel's ambience and price, there should be more extras than just the gym and jazz club. Even though the city is full of activities and experiences, it would be greater appreciated if there were additional onsite luxuries, such as a pool or spa.
negative:
Housekeeping is not always prompt or consistent
Housekeeping standards during check-ins and stays are not always timely or complete. Linens are not always taken or refreshed, garbage is left behind, and bathrooms still bear grime and signs of use.
