Good vibe from staff
Reviews suggest that you're in for a warm welcome at this family-run hotel. Guests find the staff is welcoming and friendly, as well as happy to offer suggestions as to the best bars and venues to visit during your stay.
positive:
Comfortable rooms
Although guests tend to find the rooms here are on the small side, they are also fairly complimentary about the overall standards on offer. The rooms are found to be clean and comfortable and offer a decent selection of amenities. There doesn't appear to be any problems with the Wi-Fi.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Very noisy especially at weekends
As you might expect from the setting in the heart of the city centre, the Liverpool Inn is not a particularly quiet hotel. One guest described the street outside the hotel as “mental” over the weekend. Consequently, this is probably not the best choice for families.
negative:
Off-putting entrance
Several guests mention that the entrance to the hotel is a little off-putting. It is, in fact, just a doorway in between shops and the hotel is up some stairs. That said, most guests relaxed once inside the building.
negative:
No breakfast facilities
The lack of on-site breakfast facilities was an issue for some guests but, again, this isn't a big concern as there's no shortage of nearby dining spots.
