Super 8 Freeport is run by a tight-knit group of friendly personnel, overseen by an owner/manager offering very personal service with a great deal of care and attention for guests. Staff are professional and polite and take care of issues in a timeous manner.

Rooms on offer at this hotel are fairly spacious and newly-renovated rooms offer a simple layout with a pleasing, neutral look and feel. Rooms offer a good selection of features and are kept very clean throughout.

Super 8 Freeport offers a free Wi-Fi service in all guest rooms as well as in all public spaces. The in-room Wi-Fi service is excellent and present a fast and trouble-free experience. Rooms also feature cable-access TV with an excellent variety of channels to choose from, making staying in rooms more fun.

Much of the hotel property is currently being renovated which may cause disruptions to normal services. A prime example is the heated indoor pool which is currently close as part of the renovation project. Hotel management have however stated that renovations shouldn’t be too much longer.

There seems to be an ongoing issue with the strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hotel and this may be seriously off-putting for non-smokers and those with breathing difficulties or complications including asthma.

Super 8 Freeport offers all guests staying at the hotel access to a free continental-style breakfast. While this is free, the options currently available are quite limited and will not appeal to more health-conscious travelers.
