Guests are very surprised when they first enter the rooms as they do not expect an old style pub to have such stylish accommodation. The rooms are very tasteful and have a great range of amenities. You can see that the owners have gone all out to make this a boutique hotel.

The menu in this gastropub is one of the best you'll find in the area. All the classics are there, but they are prepared in such a way that they taste incredible. The price is quite reasonable too and with so many options on the menu, you'll rarely eat the same thing twice.

The people that work here are extremely welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble for them. If you have any issues with your room, they are willing to accommodate you and change rooms if possible. Superb service throughout.

The rooms are very well designed and have some lovely furniture and features, but there are a few issues here and there such as areas that aren't too clean and old worn items placed next to new pieces of furniture which seems a little odd.

The internet signal isn't what it should be, and some guests have noted that they had to stand by doors or in particular areas of the room just to make a connection. This is not ideal especially when you consider the price that you are paying.

Sometimes the rooms can get a little stuffy and with no way of controlling the temperature within the rooms, you are left with opening the window as your only option. This means that the street noise can become an issue.
