Sundial Hotel (Whistler, Canada)

Guests were pleased to report that they did not need to rely on their cars during their stay as they had plenty of things to see and do in close proximity. Many found it handy being a shirt stroll away from local shops, bars and restaurants whilst keen skiers appreciated having the slopes and the ski lifts literally on their doorstep.

Many of the rooms have mountain views and guests said that sitting on their balconies whilst admiring the scenery was one of the highlights of their stay. The suites have fully-equipped kitchens which the guests found very handy as they were able to make their own breakfasts as well as meals and snacks during the day.

The dishes served at all of the three on-site restaurants were said to be well-prepared whilst the service was described as professional and efficient. Guests appreciated having various dining options at the hotel which meant that they did not need to leave the premises in search of somewhere to eat.

Quite a few guests said that they were disturbed by noise from the local bars and cafes which often lasted until late in the evening. Others objected to the rather loud music coming from one of the on-site restaurants which sometimes hosts live bands.

Quite a few guests objected to the fact that the air-conditioning units are only installed in the living area which meant that many were either too hot or too cold in their bedrooms.

There is only one hot tub on the premises and guests said that they would have enjoyed their stay more if a pool and a fitness centre were available on-site.
