Positive Reviews
positive:
A nice quiet location
This resort is ideally located for a relaxing trip away from the madness of the main strip at Surfers Paradise. It's far enough away that you can enjoy peace and quiet yet close enough that you can drive or get a taxi there in minutes.
positive:
Excellent rooftop pool
The spa and pool on the rooftop are incredible. They are in great condition and offer spectacular views of the area. You can even barbecue up there too. Guests have said that you could easily spend the whole day on the roof of this resort.
positive:
Great range of amenities
The pools are top class, but it's the fact that you get so many amenities that impresses guests. The secure parking is a big hit especially as you have direct access via the elevator. This makes guests feel very comfortable about leaving their car at night.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Housekeeping issues
At first glance, the apartments might look clean but in fact, the place is quite dirty. There's dust everywhere, and the kitchen appliances don't look like they have been cleaned at all. It's a little annoying to be told by the staff that you must keep the place clean when they obviously do not.
negative:
In need of an update
The apartments are individually owned, and some are in need of an update as they haven't been redecorated in many years. This ruins the holiday feeling, and as the staff cannot guarantee that your apartment is a good one, it's a bit hit and miss.
negative:
Paid facilities
The tennis court and the pool table aren't free to use at this resort. You must pay to rent equipment and guests feel that this is a bit much to ask. These hidden charges add quite a bit to your bill.
