Centrepoint Apartments (Galway, Ireland)

Guests appreciated the cost savings of a stay at these apartments and said they represented excellent value. Those staying a week or longer were particularly impressed and said the cost was a fraction of what it would have been in a Galway area hotel.

With numerous shops, restaurants and pubs in easy walking distance, the location earned high praise from guests and many described the apartments as the ideal base for visiting Galway. Nearby bus stops make for easy transportation to other parts of the city which was another bonus.

Those travelling with children particularly appreciated these apartments and enjoyed the saving money by preparing meals in the well equipped kitchens which include utensils, refrigerators and ranges with ovens. Guests described the apartments as spacious, attractive and comfortable with modern, well appointed bathrooms.

Guests weren't thrilled with the beds and described the mattresses as thin and uncomfortable. Flat, thin pillows didn't help much and neither did the sofas which were described as lumpy and not comfortable for sleeping.

These apartments are student quarters during the school year and what some described as a dorm room feel did not appeal to everyone. Guests complained that towels weren't replaced, toilet paper wasn't restocked and the fire doors clanged incessantly. Limited reception hours was also the source of complaints.

Situated on an industrial estate, the apartment's location didn't please everyone. Guests complained that the area around the apartments was a bit drab and depressing and that the buiding's exterior was a little scruffy.
