The hotel is located in the La Boquilla area and is extremely close to beach, allowing you to get to the sand and sun within a short walk.

The area around the hotel is fairly run down, with old buildings and poor-quality streets. Though the hotel itself is safe, it's recommended that you take a taxi when going out and about to avoid walking through the slum-like environment.

The kitchenettes provided in some units include only a microwave, small stove, and some pans, but no cooking utensils. If you intend to prepare meals in your room, you'll have to bring your own utensils; otherwise, you're better off just eating in the restaurants and cafes.

Though the small pool is suitable for cooling off in warm weather (when the water is clean), there are times when the cleaning schedule is not kept up-to-date and the water turns green.
