Located on Flinders Street, Serviced apartment is within easy walking distance to many of central Melbourne’s sites and attractions, including Bourke Street Mall, Fitzroy Gardens, the Royal Botanical Gardens, Federation Square and The Princess Theatre. The hotel is also within the free tram zone area and numerous lanes and arcades can be explored on foot.

Many guests found the apartments to be spacious and well presented with all the necessary amenities included. Guests in upgraded rooms also enjoyed use of a private balcony and views included the Yarra River, Melbourne city views and the Rod Laver Arena.

The staff have been described as friendly, accommodating and happy to assist with any tourist information and advice.

Many guests complained about the noise levels at the hotel which prevented them from getting a good nights’ sleep. There is a bar/restaurant attached to the hotel and at times loud music is played into the morning hours. The street facing rooms are quieter in that they are better protected from the sound of music, however other guests complained that these rooms are also loud due to the sound of car and public transport traffic.

The housekeeping service is not always reliable and guests have reported that the standard of cleanliness is sometimes low. Complaints have included that the rooms seem to be generally unclean, surfaces are dusty, carpets need to be vacuumed and mould has been found growing in the bathrooms.

While free Wi-Fi is provided, some guests felt misled as the free Wi-Fi is limited to a certain daily data allowance. Depending on your needs, this may be insufficient to suit your requirements.
