Splendid service.
Poolside service and hotel valets really stood out for a lot of guests. Welcoming valets made sure to get guests acquainted with the property, while poolside staff were on the ball with drink service and extra touches like remembering previous drinks guests had ordered.
positive:
Spa a worthwhile indulgence.
From the outdoor eight foot cascading showers, to yoga, to the eucalyptus steam room, guests were happy to spend the day getting pampered in the Alvadora Spa. Indoor-outdoor courtyards added to the relaxing vibe.
positive:

This historic resort provided a welcome respite from every day life for many guests. Complete with cobblestone pathways and intimate outdoor nooks, guests were drawn to the feel of a private residence with large resort amenities.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Resort and parking fee could be a deal-breaker.
Many guests took issue with the high daily resort and parking fees. Guests without vehicles were charged for parking, and many felt things like Wi-Fi should have been included in the room cost, not with an extra daily fee.
negative:
Swimming pool on the small side.
At busy times, a smaller swimming pool meant that it could get crowded. Couples looking for some down time by the pool might find more kids than they had hoped, made evident by the tight space. On the plus side, guests can have a late-night swim because the pool is open 24 hours.
negative:
Room confusion.
Some guests reported a mix-up with the room booked and the room received. At times, rooms that guests were expecting to stay in were accidentally given away to other guests.
