Lots of great things all on-site.
There are a lot of great things to see around the resort thanks to its downtown location, but with so much on-site guests might be tempted to not leave the property at all. Casinos and live performances provide great entertainment, while several popular dining options on-site are sure to satisfy any appetite.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Some areas of the hotel need TLC.
As a four-star hotel and casino, the Eldorado Resort has quite a reputation to live up to. Unfortunately it doesn't always meet those expectations in the overall appearance as there are spots that are starting to show their age and are in need of refurbishment.
negative:
Guests should skip the spa.
While there are a lot of great things guests can enjoy at the Eldorado Resort, one amenity that isn't up to high standards is the spa. Treatments are only okay in quality, and don't really justify the additional cost guests will have to pay.
negative:
Security personnel could use better training.
One group of staff members at this resort that need better training is the security personnel. On the rare occasion when an issue arises that requires their attention they are slow to respond, if they do at all. Other guests also report having rude interactions with security personnel when encountering them.
